Today Censis Technologies announces the retirement of CEO, Randy Smith. Randy joined Censis in February of 2005 and was promoted to CEO in 2006. His leadership cannot be overstated as he successfully grew the company to be the largest surgical asset management solution for healthcare systems in the United States. His retirement will be effective March 31, 2022.
“It’s with a mix of excitement and sadness, that I announce I am retiring from Censis. Censis is a dedicated and caring team which has a passion for its customers and each team member. I have been truly humbled to be its leader over these many years, and I consider what we accomplished together a great part of my legacy,” said Randy Smith.
Today Censis also announces that Ankush Kaul has been promoted to President of Censis. Ankush joins Censis from his current role as Vice President and General Manager of Setra Systems, another Fortive operating company that provides innovative sensing technologies across multiple industries. Randy said, “I have great confidence in Ankush, and he is well-positioned to take Censis forward with continued success.”
Ankush has been with Danaher and Fortive for over 11 years and has a successful track record of developing highly effective organizations leading to sustained growth. He holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in engineering and received an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business. Ankush will assume his new role on January 18th.
