Few industries change as quickly as the sterile processing industry, and because of this, it’s all too easy for sterile processing professionals to feel disconnected and isolated from their peers. At Censis Technologies Users Conference (CtUC) Connect 2023, professionals in the industry will have the opportunity to meet and connect with others in the sterile processing community.
With this being the first in-person conference since 2019, Censis leaders are particularly excited about this year’s event. “This is the only educational conference focused on clinical training and developing and empowering our sterile processing conditions, the department, and perioperative leaders,” said Poornima Gopalakrishnan, Censis President. She went on to describe how the event is an opportunity for both Censis and sterile processing professionals to learn from and connect with each other.
With the event less than a month away and held in vibrant downtown Nashville, here’s what Censis leaders are most looking forward to at this year’s event.
Unlocking New Opportunities via Customer Feedback
For Poornima, CtUC provides a perfect opportunity for Censis to gather critical customer feedback on their daily challenges and how they’re using Censis to resolve them. “We see [the event] playing a key role in advancing sterile processing innovation and reshaping perioperative efficiency and management.” This is done primarily by interacting with customers, gathering feedback, and understanding the experiences SPDs are having on a daily basis.
A Look Into What’s Coming
The chance to build a wide network of individuals within the sterile processing industry is particularly exciting for Yizhou Chen, VP of Product and Marketing at Censis. “These connections aren’t something you can get through a screen,” she said. “I’m so excited to bring back that element.”
Along with building meaningful relationships, Yizhou is eager to show Censis customers and partners the new features and functionalities coming to the platform. “The product team will be there to discuss new features and what’s coming in the future.”
Stay on Top of Changing Industry Trends
Allison Flood, VP of Customer Support and Service at Censis, stated the one thing SPDs can count on in the industry is change. “There’s always something new to learn and stay on top [of]. At Censis, we keep striving to bring learning opportunities and education to our clients so people can stay on top of those changes.”
CtUC provides individuals with those learning opportunities via numerous education sessions and networking events. Allison discussed how attendees will have the opportunity to get hands-on training around Censis products and see firsthand how our solutions can create a high-quality sterile processing department. She’s particularly looking forward to hearing from Lindsey Brown on how to strike the perfect balance between quality and productivity and Robbie Miller, who has over twenty years of experience in the field.
Make Connections at CtUC 2023
CtUC 2023 promises to be an exciting week filled with invaluable educational and networking opportunities. Attendees will hear from industry experts on best practices, discover cutting-edge insights, learn how to improve department productivity and efficiency, experiment with Censis software first-hand, and so much more.
CtUC 2023 is happening September 10–12 in Nashville, TN. If you're attending, don't miss the chance to make meaningful connections with fellow sterile processing professionals and learn how to stay on top of industry trends with Censis.
